I was at lunch with coworkers.
Me: Joseph made a cake last night but he forgot to pack me a slice.
Laura: You should have gone home and eaten it.
Me: Dang! I should have.
Laura gives me a look that tells me she was being sarcastic. She decides to take it further.
Laura: You could have him deliver it.
Me (perks up): Oooh, I could have him deliver it.
Laura looks at me like I'm crazy.
Me: I could have him bring enough for all of us.
Laura: So should you call him or should I?
