Camping

J's family likes the camp. So we packed up the car and the three dogs and headed out.

One thing about camping with people who like to camp...they have all the equipment. We have our own tent, sleeping bag, and chairs, but we don't have any cooking stuff.

Also, this tiny tent...

...housed a flushing toilet.

There was also a hand washing station. This is camping in luxury.  (Except at 5:30 in the morning when the hand washing station was frozen.)

The dogs were good. They mostly stayed close, and when they wandered off, would come back when we called. So we didn't bother tying them up. I did feel like a mother watching children, as I would occasionally take a head count and have a moment of terror. "Where's Osa??" The answer: Always by the food.

Osa played guard dog.

Micah relaxed in the shade.

And Tiny was usually on a lap.

Or in a sweater.

Or just being held. Spoiled dog.

J played some horseshoes.

Ladder ball (first we had to assemble it)

Went for a drive along cliffs that were slightly terrifying.

And ate a lot of food.

Tombstone with Keeley

Keeley came to visit and we went to Tombstone.

I have missed this girl.

I've never been to Tombstone and it was quite the experience.

Just look at that hottie Keeley.

This girl makes me belly laugh. There were a couple times I laughed until I cried and then I laughed until I squeaked.

The two that I remember...

The youtube video of the reporter, on live TV, trying to get away from a gigantic bug, opening his mouth wide and make a little noise, as he tried to get away. Then Keeley doing the same thing, unintentionally, with a bug later in the day.

Discussing haboobs and Keeley's husband Steven asking if that was Aladdin's monkey's name.

I wish she didn't live across the country.
